Jared Wild, New York City Senior Personal Trainer

Jared Wild graduated in 2003 from Dr. Anthony Abbots Fitness Institute International in Boca Raton, Florida where he focused on exercise science and physiology.  After graduating he apprenticed under Bill Hebson at Work Out America. Jared also participated in a three month mentorship at the Institute Of Human Performance with Juan Carlos Santana where he received his Functional Training Specialist certification.

Many of Jared’s exercise programs focus on proper alignment, muscle balance, and posture.  His experience in exercise physiology has helped him in understanding the execution of biomechanically sound exercise and core stabilization in functional workouts.

Prior to being in the fitness industry, Jared graduated from the Florida Culinary Institute and has over thirteen years of experience working as a chef in restaurants such as Hudson River Club, Annisa, and American Park in New York City.  Jared has also worked with individual clients, offering personalized recommendations and support while integrating appropriate food choices with lifestyle options and loves offering this advice to his fitness clients as well!

Jared is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, and Crossfit.  Jared is also currently pursuing the USAW Olympic Weightlifting Club Coach certification.
