Shawn got his introduction to physical fitness the old school way - in the Marine Corps - and uses his military experience to challenge clients and push them to their limits. And with his personal training background at some of the tri-state area's most prestigious gyms over the last five years (The Edge Fitness Club, N.Y. Sports Club, Platinum Fitness, and Y.M.C.A.), Shawn has the knowledge and experience to help clients make the most of their exercise goals and abilities.
Shawn works with inSHAPE clients in private, semi-private, and small group sessions, and he LOVES to take the sessions outdoors. His workouts are efficient and effective, with a little twist of "corpstraining". Meaning, he combines cardiovascular movements with resistance training activities, which include circuit training, agility drills and functional strength movements to give his clients a well-rounded and disciplined workout.

Shawn is a certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
