Michele Rinaldi, New York City Pilates Instructor

Classically trained in New York City, Michele has been teaching Pilates for nearly a decade. A gymnast for 16 years, she discovered the merits of Pilates during her own personal rehabilitation from chronic back and hip injuries. After receiving her Master's Degree in Psychology in 2001, she began extensive study of anatomy and biomechanics, which has provided her with the knowledge to further challenge clients to meet their fitness goals.
 
Michele's background in gymnastics and psychology brings a unique mind/body approach to Pilates that combines the physical understanding of the body's muscles and balance with an understanding of the emotion attached to why clients are there - whether it be injury recovery, childbirth, or simply a desire to get in better physical shape.
