Emma Nelson has been a personal trainer for ten years. She’s a Columbia University graduate with a B.S. in Biology. She is a USA Cycling Coach and former Category 2 road racer. In 2006, she helped form the Advil-ChapStick women’s bike racing team, which dominated the local and regional racing scene and successfully competed in National Racing Calendar events. She retired from racing last year to have a baby, and has decided to spend more time with her family and less time traveling. She enjoys working with dedicated recreational cyclists and beginner racers. She teaches solid bike handling skills, helps riders achieve a smooth and efficient riding style, and designs training programs to enhance fitness in smart and injury-free ways.
