Mary Duncan, New York City Personal Trainer

Mary Duncan has been working in the fitness industry since 1993.  She stumbled into teaching group exercise and earned her first personal training and group exercise certification while attending college at DePauw University. From there she moved to Boston, MA to attend graduate school and continued to work in the fitness industry where she received the distinction of Instructor of the Year for the Tab Newspaper’s annual Best of Brookline/Brighton contest. 

Since 2000 Mary has been living in New York and works with a variety of populations from marathon runners and high performance athletes to people just beginning to explore fitness. She has also helped numerous clients get in better shape for their weddings and class reunions!
 
She truly enjoys helping people and loves to see her clients grow and their various fitness levels improve. Her goal during her training sessions is always to improve her client’s fitness level, push her clients to work hard and to have fun. She holds various certifications from DePauw University, Fitour, and ACE.
