Andy has been a personal trainer since 1997. He is also a competitive athlete. As a member of the NY Road Runner’s Club, Andy has competed in countless running races, to include the NYC Marathon (twice), several half-marathons, a 60-kilometer race, and many other Central Park events. Andy has also participated in Xterra off-road triathlons for the last seven years, and raced in the NYC Triathlon seven years in a row. In order to balance the high intensity running, cycling, swimming and strength training workouts, Andy has developed a strong yoga practice and believes in relaxation and meditation. Andy can help bring out the inner athlete in you. Most importantly, he can help you achieve optimal fitness and high performance while avoiding injury due to poor training or over training.
Andy is certified by the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) – CPT and has been a Spinning instructor. He also taught a highly successful Boot Camp agility class on Wall St.
